I´m an educator with over nine years of teaching in international settings, who never wants to stop learning. I always try to bring a dynamic and adaptive approach to teaching English online. My qualifications include a Bachelor's in Elementary Education, a Montessori Diploma, and certifications in the IB PYP framework, as well as advanced training in developmental psychology and positive psychology. These credentials enable me to create engaging and nurturing learning environments tailored to students’ individual needs.

Having worked in Japan, I deeply admire Japanese students' learning styles and cultural context. My teaching style emphasizes active participation, confidence-building, and real-world application of English skills. I integrate modern teaching methodologies, including project-based learning and technology-enhanced instruction, which I have refined through professional development at Harvard University and Microsoft Educator programs.

With fluency in English, German, and Spanish, and ongoing Japanese language learning, I am skilled in connecting with students across cultures. My ultimate goal is to inspire a love for English and empower students to communicate confidently in diverse settings.

My teaching journey began in Spain and Austria, where I taught elementary grades and worked in bilingual environments. In Germany, I specialized in Montessori education and later became a Grade 4 PYP Homeroom Teacher, refining my skills in inquiry-based learning and child-centered teaching approaches.

From 2020 to 2023, I worked as a Grade 3 PYP Homeroom Teacher in the Philippines, deepening my understanding of multicultural education and collaborative teaching. Most recently, I served as a Grade 1 PYP Homeroom Teacher and Math Leader at Okinawa International School in Japan. In this role, I developed innovative lesson plans, mentored local teachers, and fostered a nurturing learning environment for my students.

In addition to classroom teaching, I’ve collaborated with universities, language programs, and summer camps, gaining experience in curriculum development, ESL instruction, and leadership roles. My passion for education drives me to empower students with the skills and confidence they need to succeed.

Hello everyone! My name is Anita, and I´m delighted to have the opportunity to be your teacher. I have been an educator for over nine years, teaching students of all ages, from young learners to university students, in different settings, including international schools, language programs, and educational projects. Teaching is not only my profession but also my passion, as it allows me to connect with people from different backgrounds and help them achieve their goals.

Across my journey, I have been fortunate to have visited 53 countries so far. Traveling has been a transformative experience for me, offering insights into diverse cultures, traditions, and ways of life. Each destination has taught me valuable lessons, shaping me as both a person and an educator. I hope to bring some of these experiences into our lessons, enriching our learning with real-world stories and cultural perspectives.

Since moving to Japan, I have fallen deeply in love with its rich culture, traditions, and warm-hearted people. My time here has been truly inspiring, and I hope to contribute to this wonderful country as an educator for many years to come. While I dream of continuing to work on educational projects to support those in need worldwide, my commitment to serving students in Japan remains strong.

In our classes, my aim is to create a positive and engaging learning environment where you feel confident and motivated to improve your English skills. We will focus on practical communication, interactive activities, and real-world applications to ensure that your learning experience is both enjoyable and effective. Mistakes are a natural part of the learning process, and together, we will turn them into opportunities for growth.

Outside of teaching, I am passionate about reading, sports, and traveling. These hobbies inspire me to stay curious and embrace lifelong learning, a mindset I strive to share with my students.
