I have always been committed to ensuring that students learn practical English that can be used in the real world. Teaching methods need to be flexible and adaptive, as students' needs vary. My methodology has always been a blend of traditional styles and customized, adaptive approaches to meet the needs of students at all levels, whether academic, business, or test-preparation English.
Nowadays, I incorporate online tools such as apps, dictionaries, and other language learning platforms into my teaching. Traditionally, however, my teaching styles have included personalized learning, differentiated instruction, interactive collaborative learning, task-based learning, project-based learning, and content-integrated language learning.
Among the various methods of teaching English, I find grammar-translation and structural methods most effective for improving foundational English skills. These methods are particularly useful for students who are new to English or need to refresh their skills.
Many students seek to improve their listening and speaking skills. Audio-lingual and total physical response methods, as well as communicative language teaching, excel in helping students with pronunciation, speaking ability, and confidence.
For more advanced students, direct and task-based methods are highly effective, as completing tasks helps the mind recognize English as a language for processing thoughts. Learning English in context encourages students to start thinking in English and become more naturally proficient in the language.

Welcome to Aplros Online. My name is Ali Shinshi and I am here to help you improve your English language skill for all purposes, whether that be academic, business or improving test scores.
I am an American educated Japanese Egyptian and being an instructor of the English language has always been one of my favorite jobs. I speak three languages fluently, English, Japanese and Arabic, as well as some French and Spanish. As my experience has naturally been multicultural, I have had the privileged of being exposed to an international environment from a young age. This allows me to relate to a multitude of academic and business situations, thus provide the English guidance that you need.
English is not just a language, it is a must have skill to connect to the rest of the world! By acquiring English, you will not only expand your world by interacting with other English speakers from across the globe, but also expose your self to the immense amount of information, entertainment, learning and cultural exchange opportunities that await you on the internet.
